Teething Baby March 28 2017
Teething usually begins when your little one is around 6 months old (although some babies start earlier or later than this). The discomfort your baby will experience when those tiny teeth start coming through may make them restless and irritable, which means this can be a difficult stage for mum and dad too! We have put together a few helpful tips for this tricky time:
Give them plenty of water to replace fluids lost though dribble.
Having plenty of dribble bibs on standby that protect baby' clothing and chest and less outfit changes needed.
Teething foods such as frozen bananas and peeled apple wrapped in muslin gauze (so little bits don't fall off and cause choking) are soothing on baby's gums.
Give them a teething toy to chew like the original Sophie the Giraffe, and the natural teether or why not let them chew on some specially designed handmade teething jewellery choose from bangles or necklaces made from high-quality food grade silicone to soothe inflamed gums.
And lastly protect those chins with some soothing organic baby coconut oil and distract them with hugs and play.
We hope this helps with the teething stage, good luck!
